Call for Grant Applications for FY2025 (Draft)

TI-FRIS is pleased to announce that it is accepting grant applications from TI-FRIS Fellows for FY2025 as follows. TI-FRIS Fellows who wish to apply for the grants are encouraged to read the "Arrangements" carefully and submit their applications within the application period.

※ Applications for each support are limited to TI-FRIS Fellows (as of April 1 of the relevant fiscal year).

Grants for This Call

Grant for Interdisciplinary Research

The grant supports excellent joint research proposals that transcend the boundaries of fields and institutions to promote interdisciplinary research that can be published based on the exchange of interdisciplinary researchers and the seeds of interdisciplinary research possessed by each researcher.

Grant for Research Exchange

The grant supports expenses required to hold a research exchange event with the applicant TI-FRIS Fellow as the organizer and at least two other TI-FRIS Fellows or Senior Fellows from different participating institutions.

Grant for Publication and Presentation of Research Results

This grant supports expenses required for the presentation of research results, such as expenses for participation in international conferences in Japan and abroad, publication fees, etc.

Grant for Organizing Seminars

This grant supports expenses (travel expenses for lecturers, rewards for lectures, expenses for publicity, etc.) necessary to organize seminars.

Grant for Industry-Academia Collaborative Research and Social Implementation

This grant supports proposals for outstanding collaborative research and social implementation.

■ Grant for Interdisciplinary Research and Grant for Industry-Academia Collaborative Research and Social Implementation

These grants will be provided based on the "Arrangements on Grant for Interdisciplinary Research and Grant for Industry-Academia Collaborative Research and Social Implementation."Please complete the application form and convert it into PDF format, and submit it via the Google Form provided below.

For TI-FRIS Fellows whose fellowship concludes at the end of FY2025, support will be provided only for a single fiscal year (FY2025). Please be mindful of this when completing your application form.

Duplicate applications for the Grant for Interdisciplinary Research and Grant for Industry-Academia Collaborative Research, or the Grant for Interdisciplinary Research and Grant for Social Implementation, are permitted. However, the selection process will take into consideration the concentration of research grants. In the case of duplicate application, please indicate the desired order of priority in "Notes" in the application forms.

These grants will be provided based on the "Arrangements on Grant for Publication and Presentation of Research Results and Grant for Organizing Seminars."Please complete the application form and convert it into PDF format, and submit it via the Google Form provided below.
