Development of soft tactile devices using functional organic materials
Organic tactile devices are an emerging research field that fabricates electronic devices by forming thin films of solutions composed of functional organic materials. These solutionized materials can be applied to printing methods, and can be used to create soft and highly sensitive sensor devices. As our previous achievement, we realized establishment of high-quality thin film formation technology using a compatibility improvement method to prevent over-aggregation, various high-sensitivity tactile sensor devices (such as pressure sensors and temperature sensor, etc.) and robotic handling system applications.
