(Purpose)
Article 1. These regulations shall govern the organization and operation of the Management Council Executives of the Tohoku Initiative for Fostering Global Researchers for Interdisciplinary Sciences (hereinafter referred to as “TI-FRIS”).
( Matters Under Jurisdiction )
Article 2. The matters under the jurisdiction of the Management Council Executives shall be as follows
(i) Matters related to confirmation and improvement of the management status of TI-FRIS
(ii) Matters related to evaluation and improvement of the efforts of TI-FRIS
(iii) Other matters as consulted by the Program Manager (Organization)
Article 3. The Management Council Executives shall consist of the following members
(i) Directors or vice presidents of the lead institution of and participating institutions in TI-FRIS
(ii) The TI-FRIS Program Manager
(iii) Other persons deemed necessary by the Management Council Executives (Chairperson)
Article 4. The Management Council Executives shall have a Chairperson, who shall be a member of the lead institution.
(2) The Chairperson shall preside over council affairs.
( Convening Meetings )
Article 5. In principle, the Management Council Executives shall meet once a year.
(2) The Management Council Executives shall not hold a meeting unless half or more of its members are present.
(Miscellaneous Provisions)
Article 6. In addition to the provisions of these regulations, matters necessary for the operation of the Management Council Executives shall be prescribed separately.

Supplementary Provisions
These regulations shall come into effect on December 23, 2020, and shall apply from November 13, 2020.
