Presentation Title:Utilization of “Buried” Carbon Resources leading to Sustainability

Abstract:To address the need for a society less dependent on fossil fuels and with reduced environmental impact, replacing carbon resources is essential for sustainability. I am focusing on the utilization of various carbon resources with high potential as next-generation materials, such as carbon dioxide, biomass compounds derived from wood, and simple hydrocarbons including natural gas (uniquely defined as “Buried” Carbon Resources). In this HUB meeting, I would like to present the progress of the researches achieved through interdisciplinary research integrating organ(ometall)ic chemistry, chemical engineering, computational science, pharmaceutical science, and polymer chemistry.
