We are pleased to announce that the Tohoku Initiative for Fostering Global Researchers for Interdisciplinary Sciences (TI-FRIS) will hold the 2nd TI-FRIS Symposium on Monday, February 28, and Tuesday, March 1, 2022 (Japan Standard Time).

The symposium will feature invited lectures (as the transferable skills training program) by prominent researchers from abroad and domestic researchers with many achievements, as well as introductions to the research of TI-FRIS Fellows.

Also, faculty members of Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIS), Tohoku University, and the principal investigators of the research support programs of the institute will present their research results, which will be held concurrently with FRIS Annual Meeting 2022.
